CETA at Renovation Days 2025 with the Floema Project

A special memory from November: Renovation Days 2025 – innovation for urban regeneration
From November 26 to 28, BASE Milano hosted the third edition of Renovation Days, Italy’s leading event dedicated to offsite construction and the ecological transition of the built environment.
Three days of debate with national and international experts on deep decarbonization, social housing, and new technologies for renovation.

Floema Project: innovation for social housing
A multidisciplinary team, with CETA among the key players, presented Floema: a modular solution to upgrade public housing buildings, improving accessibility, insulation, and outdoor spaces.
The system is inspired by nature: just as the phloem supports the tree, CETA’s steel structure becomes an exoskeleton for new balconies and verandas, integrating hemp-lime insulation and efficient systems.

Goal: more comfort, sustainability, and social interaction for residents.
